Same Az U

Same Az U Featuring Jack Schmidt is Hutchinson's premier cover band. Formed in the summer of 2004, Same Az U brings more than 75 years of combined experience to the stage.

To say that Same Az U is a "Rock & Roll" cover band may be a bit misleading. Performing everything from Rock, Disco, Blues, Country, Same Az U brings a wide variety of music to the stage, and performs it all with the same professional through-the-roof energy level.  Leading the way are two strong vocalists, Tessy Salisbury and Scott Diggs, giving SAU the ability to perform a versatile show with two unique front people.  Tessy with her bluesy tones, and Scott with that rock & roll growl gives SAU the edge when it comes to music selection. Rounding out the line-up are Doug Mitchell on guitar, Brad Wingert on drums and percussion, and Craig Parrott on bass and backing vocals.

Same Az U takes a unique approach to its performances: once a set is begun, the music doesn't stop until the end of the set. The band mixes its songs much like a DJ mixes music for a seamless presentation. Whether it's for 30 people or 3000, you get the same high energy show. If it's a total entertainment package you're looking for, Same Az U has it!
