MR Brew is a four-piece blues/rock band formed in Wichita, KS. The band is comprised of Jeremy Brewer (Guitar/Vox), Mike Reed (Bass), Kyle McCorgary (Drums) and John Montgomery (Guitar).

It all started in high school, when longtime friends Mike and Jeremy got together with their acoustic weapons of choice and began to just listen to what their instruments told them. Sessions of pure harmony came into play, and Mike (MR) and Jeremy (Brew) knew that they needed to write music. When college came Mike and Jeremy roomed together at K-State and continued to draw out notes of desire and lyrics full of meaning. A couple of open mic nights and the encouragement of fellow companions at shows gave Jeremy and Mike every reason to continue with their music ability.

When Jeremy and Mike moved back from college the intensity of their music writing started to take off. They started opening for a couple of great bands around the Wichita area. Kyle then joined the band on drums to bring that edge that Mike and Jeremy were looking for. With a full resonance of guitar strings, bass licks, percussion pounding, harmonica humming, and lyric spitting sound, MR. Brew was starting to come around. After they recorded their first CD, Waxing Gibbous, it was apparent that they needed another link. MR Brew then recruited John Montgomery to take the lead on the guitar. MR Brew is currently distributing their first CD, Waxing Gibbous, and writing new music for the next one.
